Jun 18, 2014 · Every hour my internet has a brief "pause", it can be from 3 seconds to a whole minute, it happens every single hour, but not exactly, In example it could happen at 9:12 then at 10:08 then at 11:10 and so on. its very annoying because it disconnects me from online games. I've called my ISP about 30 times, changed my modem twice, no solution. I also play World of Warcraft with my significant other and my brother at home every night, and getting disconnected from an online only game ever 60 minutes is unacceptable. Also, if it is a wireless issue, you may want to bridge the modem and use your own router - something advisable on all of the D3 gateway modems.
Apr 20, 2020 · In the recorded sessions, I can tell that some of the ALARM events did not cause the gateway broadband link to go down, possibly if the retries succeeded. In a 3.5 hour recording that had 8 ALARM events, there were only 2 or 3 disconnects. ALARM interval seems to be random. The following is a bit of my speculation.
Starting a few weeks ago the internet would appear to disappear from all devices (wired or wireless) on our LAN. LAN connectivity was fine. In my case the outgage would be every hour or so (not regular) and would last for anywhere from a minute to ten minutes. I think you're way ahead of me on tool knowledge. Can you open a comand prompt and run ipconfig and ipconfig /renew and post any errors. Sounds like I have a similar issue.
