The detection range of 70 feet is nice, although I would purchase the normal Cloak 6 or Terra 6 before this one. The Cloak 6 has a flash range of 60 feet due to three more IR emitters than the Terra 6 with a flash range of 50 feet. The Terra 6 is stated to have a detection range of 50 feet, although I have not tested it nor has anyone else.
